Shaping the UK’s new trade policy

Abstract

The article analyses the formation of key elements of the UK trade policy in the post-Brexit period. Some of the main problems facing the current stage of negotiations between the United Kingdom and the European Union on future conditions of bilateral trade and economic relations are considered. The article examines the strategy of the UK to create a free trade area network with the country’s leading partners outside the Euro zone. A new role of the United Kingdom in the multilateral trading system is also assessed.
