Abstract

The article provides for a comparative analysis of various legal frameworks for investment facilitation existing in bilateral investment treaties and regional trade agreements. Based on the current analysis, options for possible convergence of individual regional investment provisions were found. It is argued that the WTO can gain momentum for creation of multilateral rules on investment facilitation.
