WTO after Nairobi: calls from the megaregional agreements and coalition activity of Russia

Abstract

The article deals with themes of the World Trade Organization after the Ministerial Conference in Nairobi, addressed the implications conclusion megaregional agreements, pointing to the threat of further fragmentation of the international trading system as a result of such agreements and, in particular, the likelihood of regulatory trade diversion due to the spread of American or European rules of origin. In addition, the peculiarities of forming coalitions have been identified based on trade interests of WTO member countries.
