Machinery building industry as a perspective direction of the Russian technological export

Abstract
The situation of domestic machinery industry over the period of 1991–1995 is described. The trends of development and problems of the industry export are revealed. It was made an estimation of dynamics of the Russian export of machinery and equipment, its place in the framework of the world trade, the position of the export industry in terms of countries and products types is outlined. Due to analysis the importance of technological development of domestic machinery is confirmed.
